The things about Athletes is that they know the importance of sticking to their routines. They don’t always feel like practicing. They don’t always want to play. But that doesn’t mean they won’t.
Committing to a program doesn’t mean you’re head-over-heals in love. It means that you have a goal (more on that later) and an end point, and that you need a way to get there. You have decided that today, you will do it.
Walk around the block. Walk for an hour. Do some push-ups. Stretch. Jog to that stop sign. Visit a gym for a trial membership. Sign up with a personal trainer.
You don’t have to feel like you want to. Feeling has nothing to do with it. If you wait until you feel like you want to, you’ll end up worse than you are now.
